Symphony of Frogs
I hear the frogs outside now… Spring peepers and I think what could very well be an American toad.
Frog Calls
The American toad sounds higher-pitched than I would expect it to.

"I lost myself once, and I see that I was weak of heart.
And if you will stay here with me, we face the hardest part.
We will find out, as we change about.
Is this the last bout? Here is when we shout."

Baby chicks!!!! They’re finally here! They look pink in the video because of the heat lamp
So adorable! The one mugging for the camera at the 0:20 mark is General Tso. He’s their gentle but strong leader.
Providence is Melting
I’ve been sick. Today was the first time since last Thursday where I’ve actually felt good. I walked across the city in the fifty-degree weather to get lunch, avoiding the large puddles left behind by the melted snow and breathing the fresh air. It cheered me up and energized me into getting fully over whatever took me down this past week.
The drive home from work tonight was just as beautiful. The city lights sparkled as the meltwater dripped over them.
Please winter, don’t come back until November.
Is that a…goat?
That was the most surprising thing I’ve ever seen while hiking in Rhode Island. I’m so glad we got a photo of it!
The first thing I thought was “If this were Carcassonne, where would I drop my follower…”
